AT WORK
1. Please come attend your shift with the absolute bare essentials. Every item you bring in and out of work is a potential source of infection, including your coat and bag.
2. WASH YOUR HANDS ON ENTERING THE BUILDING AND EVERY SINGLE TIME YOU MOVE TO A DIFFERENCT CLINICAL AREA. If in doubt, wash them (or use alcohol gel if soap and water not available).
3. Your mobile phone is a major source of contamination and spread of infection. Ideally you should be giving your ward phone number as your emergency contact and leaving your phone at home. If however you do have to bring your phone in, then PLEASE keep it in a plastic ziploc bag and clean with isopropyl alcohol wipes (recommended by Apple)
